When We Were Kings
It is the year 1974. Mr. Ali is 32 years old and many believe he has passed the peak of his career. George Foreman is ten years younger than you, and he is the world heavyweight champion. In order to establish himself, promoter Don King offers both combatants five million dollars to fight each other, and after they accept, all King needs to do is come up with the rest of the funding. Eventually, he finds a willing supporter in Mobutu Sese Suko, the dictator of Zaire, and the stage is set for the "Rumble in the Jungle," which would include a musical festival starring some of America's most celebrated black musicians, such as James Brown and Bob Marley.
