12 Angry Men
During the trial of a man who is accused of killing his father, a single juror speaks out against the guilty verdict that the other jurors gave because of their preconceived ideas and biases. Reginald Rose took ideas from both his own 1957 movie, which was directed by Sidney Lumet, and the Westinghouse One TV show that came before it. George C. Scott won a Golden Globe for his supporting role. Jack Lemmon, who played a good juror, didn't get a Golden Globe for Best Actor, but Ving Rhames, who played Don King, gave his award to Lemmon.
