An Early Rain
Cheol (Shin Seong-il), a humble car mechanic, and Yeong-hui (Shin Hye-jin), a maid employed by the French ambassador's house, meet by chance one rainy day. To achieve in life, Cheol aspires to be the best he can be. When Yeong-hui inquires about his background, he claims to be the son of a wealthy businessman and to own a high-end car. As a result of her attraction to Cheol, Yeong-hui claims to be the daughter of the French ambassador, and the two agree to meet exclusively on rainy days so that she can wear an expensive French raincoat to conceal her true identity. Cheol and Yeong-hui continue to meet for romantic outings in the rain, and their love grows stronger every day.
