Black Angel
Italy, march 1945 Asolo. Livia Mazzion, the handsome wife of a ministry official, slips into the car of lawyer Ugo Oggiano. Livia must reach her lover Helmut Schultz and Venice, a Wermacht lieutenant, accursed and as exquisite like being a pagan god, by whom she is using a love affair that is burning. During the trip she relives the highpoints of her devastating sexual devastation gone adrift, the one who has shattered her entire life and her fate, consuming her up at the vortex of a bituminous and sybaritic Venice. The city, at the throes of this war's last months, has been rife with military metal, officials, nabobs, traffickers, sharks and adventurers of every kind. Yet Livia is awaited by a surprise up on her birth in Venicea surprise at which the heroes' personal defeats interweave with all those public, as historical and political events currently attempt to stay accounts.
