Hatching Pete
Pete Ivey (Jason Dolley) is the kind of guy who is easily overlooked from the school halls -- including his boisterous best friend, Cleatus Poole (Mitchel Musso), who is currently carrying on the family tradition of dispersing school soul as the lively Brewster High chicken. However, if an allergic attack is prompted by the costume, Poole begs his place to be taken by Pete at center court. The anonymity frees Pete to discover his star. Trouble is, it's Poole who is getting all the attention. Meanwhile, the Pete's efforts to get detected by pretty new-girl Angel A (Josie Loren) are complicated by the very fact that she's also pleased with the mystical man in the chicken suit. In the long run, Pete must decide who -- whether confronting the possibility of rejection is worth showing himself to what -- he's.
