A young attorney that is self-absorbed, matt, would go to see his secretary - an eccentric recluse who resides without petrol, power, or phone to convince him not to give his estate away as he intends to complete in the backwoods. When a woman needs some one to take care of her aging father (Ed Asner), her irresponsible son isn't her first choice. Matt (Jason London) can't get his career, love life, or wallet in order, just how can he really be expected to test in his or her or her cousin? But despair leads Matt and his grandfather to stop by in his house in the center of nowhere. For Matt, this barebones life can take some adjustment, but he meets a single mother that helps him learn about the simple life.
