Rags follows the narrative of Charlie Prince, an orphan living with spoiled, step-brothers that are simpleminded and his acerbic and unloving stepfather. Charlie's dream is to become a singer, and while he will write music and is talented, he still can not seem to capture a break. Kadee Worth, on the other hand, is still a global pop phenomenon and is music mogul Reginald Worth's daughter. While she is known by the world as a glamorous superstar, she is secretly frustrated by playing with other people's songs and wearing. Kadee wants the world to listen and see her true gift. Despite once Charlie and Kadee find one another every obstacle that gets chucked into their way, they all finally get the things they have been looking for -- a voice, a stage, an audience along with each other.
