In this story, Ben's grandma introduces him to Albert, an eccentric painter from Glasgow who also works as a Jung-inspired psychotherapist, and Ben meets him again. Their therapy sessions end up telling as much about Albert and Ben as they do about each other in this sexual comedy. "Seat in Shadow" is the first movie made by writer and director Henry Coombes. It was shot in Glasgow. During the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the film had its world premiere. It also played at the Berlin International Film Festival and the BFI Flare. An amusing study of social norms and sexual excess, where the lines between doctor and patient, art teacher and muse become blurred over time, is what this book is about.
