Through the day, Richard Haig is a well-respected and powerful British professor at famed Trinity College in Cambridge. Having a steady flow of beautiful undergraduates, their own dreams are indulged by Richard by night. But Richard is looking for something more purposeful and lasting and is continuing to grow sick and tired of the game. Therefore when Kate, Richard's tanned, athletic, 25-year-old American girlfriend informs him that she's pregnant, Richard is thrilled. He looks forward with a category of their own, being a father his children could be proud of, maybe not some Bob Cat. There's but one problem. Richard's not in love with Kate. Richard is deeply in love with Kate's sister. He have been deeply in love with her ever since he first saw her.
