Night of the Demon

American scientist John Holden arrives at London for a summit on parapsychology to discover that the colleague he was designed to meet was murdered in a freak accident the day before. As it happens that the deceased had been exploring a cult lead by Dr. Julian Karswell. Though a skeptic, Holden is doubtful of the devil-worshiping Karswell. Following a course of manuscripts, Holden enters a world which makes him question his own faith in mathematics.
