The Dresser

One fateful night in a little British regional theatre throughout World War II that a troupe of touring actors stage a production of Shakespeares King Lear. Bombs are falling, sirens are wailing, the curtain is up in an hour but the actor/manager Sir whois playing Lear is no where to be seen. His vest Norman has to scramble to preserve the production alive but will Sir generate in time of course, if he does will he be in a position to perform that night? The Dresser is a funny and deeply moving story of friendship and devotion since Sir attempts to reconcile his friendships before the closing curtain and reflects his lifelong accomplishments.
