Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love continues the story of Space Battleship Yamato 2199. It is the season 2202, three Years after the war using Gamillas, the people in the solarsystem are finally at peace again and the Earth has been restored back . With the war's close, just a peace treaty is between Gamillas and Earth which will strengthen their bond and secure peace. Besides Earth's renovation, the forces that are joint form a fresh defense fleet Andromeda, with a boat, to be its symbol of power. Due to those advancements, the Earth is moving on a path of military expansion despite the fantasies of peace of Starsha Iscandar. But every time a new threat called the Gatlantis starts to wreak chaos to a galaxy that is noodle, the Yamato is called up on by the Goddess Teressa yet again in order to fight against the threat.
