3 Days of Terror: The Charlie Hebdo Attacks
Following the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris in November2015, France declared war on the Islamic State. But that war, as well as the so-called "year of terror" in France, didn't start until the attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo a year ago. Dan Reed, a director who has won five Baftas, reveals the untold story of the massacre and of the first attack carried out by the Islamic State in Paris, which took place at a kosher grocery store. Reed was granted unprecedented access to the French authorities and previously unseen footage for this project. The spectacular attacks and the tremendous manhunt that gripped the globe for three incredible and terrible days are pieced together via the testimony of key witnesses, police officers, and survivors, many of whom are speaking up for the first time.
