The holiday season has come. When a small child and her parents enter the room, the small child discovers an assortment of toys beneath the Christmas Tree. She instantly abandons her previous doll and begins playing with her new ones. That night, though, she has a dream. Or is it really a dream... (IMDb) The soundtrack for the Czech version was entirely instrumental, with no dialogue, sound effects, or Santa! When MGM marketed the picture to American theaters, they substituted an overdone Hollywood tune for the delightful score, added an American-style Santa Claus to the video[...], and gave the doll a pip-squeaky voice.
