It turns out that Matthieu's father has died. The 33-year-old Parisian decides to go to his funeral so that he can meet his two younger siblings in Quebec. It's only when he gets to Montreal that he realizes that no one knows about him or cares about him at all. He is on his own in a dangerous place.
