All-Stars

"All-Stars" is a hysterical reflection on the state of childhood sports today, spurred by the outlandish conduct of the desperate sports parent who lives vicariously through his or her child. In the same vein as "Best in Show," which is more about the dog owners than the dogs, "All-Stars" is more about the adults participating in youth sports (parents, coaches, umpires, volunteers, and board members, among others) than it is about the children. The result is a humorous yet captivating take on fast pitch softball, as well as a unique take on the absurd behavior of a few frantic parents.
