American Dreams in China

By a frequent dream, three undergraduates bind together Throughout the reform period of the 80's -- to live the American dream. They are Cheng Dongqing. A self confident, meng Xiaojun intellectual. And Wang Yang, an idealistic romantic poet. Xiaojun is your first for studying abroad ever to obtain an US Visa. Yang follows but decides to keep in China for his dear. Poor Dongqing is made by the US Embassy repeatedly. Baffledhe reluctantly accepts the job as an English instructor in the university but finally gets fired for teaching classes in private. Round the Pacific, Xiaojun fails to find a job and can be driven to work as a bus boy in a diner.
