Amistad

To America, the slave ship Amistad place sail in 1839. During the trip, Cinque directs the slaves at an uprising that is unparalleled. They are then held captive in Connecticut, and also their discharge becomes the topic of argument. Freed slave Theodore Joadson wants others and Cinque exonerated and Realtors home lawyer Roger Baldwin to help his case. Eventually, John Quincy Adams also becomes an ally.
