Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel

Anne Shirley, now a school teacher, has begun collecting rejection slips and writing stories. She's the acquaintance of a handsome, rich, mentor, chases a bunny, and wins (to her chagrin) a baking-soda company's writing contest. She refuses the union proposal of Gilbert Blythe, and acts like Diana's maid of honour. Which directs her to teach Kingsport Ladies' College, a private girls school, where she meets resistance in one of the instructors, Miss Brooke, and the Pringle clan (one of whom is really just a rich, handsome mentor ). However, while Anne likes the friends she makes, and the conflict, she yields to Avonlea.
