Chihayafuru Part I

After Chihaya Ayase was in the 6th grade of elementary school, she met with Arata Wataya. Arata Wataya moved from Fukui Prefecture. Tai-chi Mashima has been Chihaya Ayase's friend since they were modest. Arata got close to tai-chi and also Chihaya from the card-game karuta. Chihaya is still a high school student. Chihaya learns that Arata, that travelled straight back into Fukui Prefecture, doesn't play karuta anymore. Believing they will match with Arata again, tai-chi and also Chihaya starts a karuta club.
