Drunks

At the start of a nightly Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, Jim looks very stressed. His sponsor wants him to talk for the first time in seven months that night, so he does. He leaves the meeting right after. As Jim wanders the night, looking for solace in his old haunts, the bars and parks where he purchased drugs, the meeting continues, and we hear the stories of survivors and addicts-some, like Louis, who claim to have wandered in looking for choir practice and do not identify as alcoholics, and others, like Joseph, whose drinking nearly killed his child-as they discuss their lives at the meeting.
