Eight Men Out
The fantastic Chicago White Sox team of 1919 will be the team. The team is sour at their penny-pincher owner and also at their own championships. Gamblers take advantage of this possibility to offer a few players $ to throw the show (Most of those players did not get as far as promised.) However, the wonderful Shoeless Joe Jackson and Buck Weaver return at the last minute to try and play with their very best. The Sox nearly come back from a 3-1 deficit. The facts breaks from the Sox are sued on multiple accounts. Baseball commissioner Landis has different plans although They're found innocent by the jury. The eight players are frozen for life, and Buck Weaver, for the remainder of his life, tries to clear his name.
