Electoral Dysfunction
'Electoral Dysfunction' is a comedy that pokes fun at how voting works and doesn't work in the United States. The film, hosted by Mo Rocca (a CBS News correspondent, a panelist on NPR's 'Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me!,' and a former correspondent for 'The Daily Show,') is structured as a road trip that begins with Mo making an eye-opening discovery: The Constitution does not guarantee the right to vote, placing America in the company of Libya, Iran, and Indonesia. With Todd Oldham, Mo looks into the fight over voter fraud and voter ID. He looks for the Electoral College; he talks about ballot design with Todd Oldham; and he meets experts and activists from all sides of the political spectrum who talk about why our voting system is broken and how it can be fixed.
