Foreign Correspondent

The war was only beginning to erupt across national borders. Johnny Jones, an American crime reporter dispatched by his New York publisher to put an original spin on the drowsy dispatches emanating from over seas, has a nose for a good narrative --which promptly leads him into the crime of fascism and Nazi Germany's layouts on European conquest. Jones falls into love -- walks into the middle of an assassination, uncovers a spy ring also -- not entirely coincidentally, in trying to find out more of a seemingly noble calmness attempt.
