Goodnight, Mister Tom

As we near Dunkirk, we find ourselves in an English village. Oakley's grief over the loss of his wife and young kid while he served in the Navy during World War I has turned him into a reclusive recluse. Children being evacuated from London now outnumber the number of people willing to host them. Mr. Tom takes in a very quiet 10-year-old who slowly discloses serious issues, almost against his better judgment.
