Kaitlyn, an ER nurse who is taking care of a young woman who was stabbed, is accidentally electrocuted by the defibrillator that is used to try to save her life. The victim's memories start to come back to Kaitlyn almost right away. She turns to her family, friends, and the police, but no one takes her seriously and doesn't believe her. She decides that she has to try to solve the crime herself, or she might not be able to keep her sanity if she sees things that are scary. Finally, Kaitlyn teams up with the detective on the case and weaves her way through the victim's past to find out not only the truth, but also some very surprising lessons about life, love, sorrow, and forgiveness as well.
