Land of Mine
In the days following the surrender of Germany in May 1945, a band of young German prisoners of war were handed over to the Danish government and afterwards sent to the westcoast, where they were ordered to take away the more than two thousand plantations which the Germans had placed at the sand along the shore. With their bare hands the boys were made to perform the job under the leadership of the Danish sergeant, Carl Leopold Rasmussen.
