Ever since her daddy was murdered, Taylor has needed to care for her agoraphobic mom, Ann Marie, and also tend to the family farm. All set to start her very own life, she prepares to tell her mom that she is going to relocate away with her boyfriend Blake at the beginning of the brand-new academic year. Nevertheless, her strategies are put on hold when an impending tornado intimidates to ruin the ranch. As she gets ready for the tornado, a complete stranger knocks on the door requesting for a location to stay because he has run out of gas. Unwilling to trust the complete stranger, Taylor can't help but think he is linked to her papa's fatality.
