Aging rancher George Washington McLintocka wealthy self made man, is made to deal with numerous personal and professional problems. Apparently everyone else wants a piece of his huge farmstead, including high ranking government men, McLintock's very own sons and Native Americans that are nearby. Since McLintock tries to juggle his adversaries, his wife, who left him two years before, unexpectedly returns. But she's not thinking about her husband.
