Mektoub, My Love

Amin, an aspiring screenwriter residing in Paris, returns home for the summertime. It is an occasion of reconnecting with his family along with his childhood friends. Together with his friend Ophélie and his cousin Tony he also spends his time between the restaurant run by his parents, the bars and the beaches. Inspired by many female characters who surround him Amin remains in amazement of the summertime sirens while himself cries into their joys together with euphoria. Equipped with his camera guided by the simmer light of the Mediterranean shore, Amin ignites his quest when amassing inspiration for his screenplays. In regards to love, only Mektoub ('fate' in Arabic) could decide.
