Ming of Harlem: Twenty One Storeys in the Air
Ming of Harlem: Twenty One Storeys at the Air can be an only-in-New-York account of Ming, Al, also Antoine Yates, who cohabited at a high-tech societal housing apartment at Drew-Hamilton complex in Harlem for decades before 2003, when news in their residence generated a public outcry and collective outpouring of doubt. On the discovery which Ming was a pound Al and Tiger a seven-foot alligator, their narrative took on an astonishing measurement. The picture frames Yates's recollections using a philosophical study of Al and Ming, the predators' presence combined using a text from philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy, re-imagining the circumstances of strange territories, animal names, the uncontrolled inside, and connections.
