Move Over, Darling
Nicholas Arden and Ellen Wagstaff Arden, who have been married for three years and have two young girls at home in Los Angeles, are on a plane that goes down in the South Pacific. But Ellen, who had been swept away in her lifeboat along with the rest of the passengers, did not make it out alive. Now, five years later. Nicky wants to be able to go on with his life, so he has Ellen proclaimed legally deceased. A big part of moving on is marrying another young woman, Bianca Steele, and taking her to the same Monterrey resort he took Ellen and his first wife on their honeymoon. Ellen is delivered to Los Angeles by the Navy on the same day she was rescued from a South Pacific island, where she had been stranded for the previous five years. She requests that the Navy not make any announcements about her rescue or tell Nicky since she prefers to do so privately.
