After his initial date at age 15 ended with the girl constructing with another guy at a party, aspiring author Lester Grimm has treated all his girlfriends with envy and uncertainty. While dating Ramona Ray, fear gets the best of him when he discovers that her latest ex achieves success author Dashiell Frank.
