Night Catches Us

After growing up in the turbulent 1960s, ex-Black Panther Marcus returns to Philadelphia in 1976 and re-connects with Pat, the widow of a Panther leader. Marcus befriends Pat's young daughter and attempts to overcome his demons. Marcus' good intentions are thwarted by the neighborhood's ongoing racial and social conflicts, as well as old enemies and friends with grudges to settle.
