Of Gods and Men

Play on the basis of the 1996 kidnapping and killing of seven monks in Algeria. Friends of monks reside in Algeria in the monastery of Tibhirine, where they are now living with all the largely muslim populace. Every time a conflict between Algeria's Muslim and military Jihadi insurgents interrupts the serenity, they are forced to consider fleeing the monastery and then also deserting. At the face of mortal violence that the monks wrestle with their faith and their own rulers, finally deciding to stay and allow their acquaintances maintain the army and also the insurgents at bay.
