Old Gringo
When school teacher Harriet Winslow proceeds to Mexico to show, she's intimidated by Gen. Tomas Arroyo and his revolutionaries. An aging American,'' Ambrose"Old Gringo" Bierce also in Mexico, Be-friends Gen. Arroyo and matches Harriet. Bierce is so they could determine his or her own fate, wishes to keep his identity confidential. Though he enjoys Arroyo, Bierce attempts to provoke the anger whenever possible in a attempt to get himself killed, hence avoiding enduring through his disease of the General. Both Arroyo and Bierce intrigues winslow, and also the men are in turn. She becomes involved in Arroyo.
