Onoda: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle
Japan, 1944. Hiroo Onoda, who is 22 years old and is trained to work in intelligence, finds a philosophy that goes against what the government says: don't commit suicide, stay alive no matter what, and the mission is more important than anything else. This person will be sent to Lubang, a small island in the Philippines where the Americans are about to land. There, they will fight a guerrilla war until the Japanese troops return. Soon after, the Empire will give up, and Onoda will give up 10,000 days later.
