Ren Amari is the driven inventor of a new drug. OtherLIfe expands the mind's awareness of period and creates virtual reality directly in the user's mind. With OtherLife, mere moments in real life feel just like days or hours of adventures that are exciting. Since Ren and her coworkers race across the clock to launch OtherLife, the government muscles in to make use of the drugs as a approach to prison overcrowding. They will produce cells where offenders serve sentences in just minutes of real time. When Ren resists, she finds herself an unwilling guinea pig. While others suffer the same fate, she has to escape before she descends into madness, and then regain control of OtherLife.
