Paulie

Paulie, a smart parrot who actually talks, joins the story of his struggle to some Russian immigrant who works as a janitor at the research institute where he could be placed and failed. Paulie's story begins several years earlier in the day if he could be awarded as a gift. Eventually, he educates the lady to speak correctly but is taken away by her dad because he thinks the lady cannot distinguish dream from reality because she thinks the bird could talkabout. Goes via a series of adventures using an aging widow, a pawn store proprietor, a troubadour and a in which he currently resides
