When Charles Kriel, an expert on disinformation, finds out that Cambridge Analytica is working with a software company to make a microtargeting platform for US churches that targets vulnerable people like the poor, the grieving, and the addicted, People You May Know follows him as he finds out. With the US 2020 elections coming up, Kriel puts together a team of whistleblowers and journalists. He travels across the country with his young family, where he finds a powerful group with ties to the White House. The man who hired CA is a member of the most powerful secret political group in the United States, and he wants to change the Constitution so that it is based on Christian law.
