Polycarp

A young servant woman, anna, befriended with their own bishop, also is rescued and adopted by Christians in second Century Smyrna. Since Anna is educated by Polycarp along with also her new family, she struggles to reconcile her own beliefs. When the Roman proconsul demands that most citizens worship Caesar to demonstrate their allegiance to Rome, Polycarp along with the Christians must seek courage to stand because of their faith against the growing danger of persecution. Anna has been forced to come to grips with the truth and choose whom she is prepared to call home, and perish.
