Katarina is 20 years old. With a troubled past at a suburb, her entire life is apparently already set in stone - until she finds music. Everything changes if she hears a performance of Mozart's'Requiem' at the Gothenburg Concert Hall that sends her reeling and opens up a new world that is gorgeous. She feels that she has to improve her own entire life and get as far away from her reality as possible. But demonstrates to be a treacherous one, full of betrayal, lies and also a dangerous liaison with the conductor Adam. Yet Katarina is preparing to do anything to gain her individuality.
