Reopening Night

This documentary follows the actors, crew and team of the world-famous Public Movie theater as they prepare to mount an all-black adjustment of Shakespeare's "Merry Wives," at the open-air Delacorte Cinema in New York City City. Emulating the ever-present threat of COVID-19 and among the rainiest Julys on record, the manufacturing marks the return of online theatre following greater than a year of closures in the city.
