G.T. Benz, a Viet Nam vet and recent widower, tries to handle the problems of aging and loneliness -- while beset by an competitive robo-caller. Even the tedium and aggravations within his entire own life are alleviated by way of a weekly get together with his old'Nam friends, ex-fighter pilots love himself. He joyfully looks forward to a promised visit from his long scattered daughter,"Tricia," whom he describes as"my sole reason for living." A prognosis from his doctor gives urgency to his urge to see her one more time. However, Tricia, unaware of G.T.'s state of health, keeps putting off her visit. Meanwhile, a'Nam friend expires, and also the robo calls become more intense. When a manipulative woman emerges from G.T.'s past, his life has been thrown into madness and he's driven into a desperate act.
