When the searchengine he designs replies"yes" to the question"is the government of the United States bad?" , there is a computer developer detained and detained in isolation. Desperate, however, keenly conscious of the answer's potential effect on the general public, the developer strikes a bargain with his interrogators, agreeing to re-design the software. While they try to locate ways to modify its answer and hunt to understand why the app answered a moral question, patience and the faith of his captors and the programmer are put to the test. Suspenseful and darkly funny, S.E.R.P. can be a film about coercion, innovation, and whether it's possible to do something good at the service of something bad.
