George Roundy is really a hairstylist whose uncontrolled libido stands between his aspirations and him. He's the security of a relationship. He wishes to be a hair dressing"star" and start his own salon. But the fact that he beds down with all a backer's wife, daughter and mistress doesn't help. It does little for his connection with his current girl friend.
