Freda raffish mill, takes refuge at the Paris Metro after getting chased by the henchmen of a businessman in whom he has simply stolen several documents. While hiding out from the back rooms and conduits of the Metro, Fred encounters a subterranean society of petty criminals and eccentric personalities. Despite being pursued by the henchmen, Fred finds the time to flirt with Héléna, blow a safe, rob a train, stopping the Metro authorities, and start a rock band
