The Big Racket

Nico Palmieri is a police inspector who fights against a criminal group that is terrorizing a peaceful Italian town and trying to extort money from the local shopkeepers. No one has the courage to act in the face of the threat of violence, with the exception of a restaurant owner who Palmieri coerces into telling the truth. As a direct consequence of this, the young daughter of the proprietor is sexually assaulted, and the acts of violence do not stop there. As a result of Palmieri's superior forbidding him to continue investigating his case once he learned that the gang was connected to drug traffickers, he decided to take matters into his own hands. Palmieri enlists the help of a couple of individuals who have been victimized by the gang in order to carry out his plan for a deadly payback.
