The Cleansing

Place in a small village in 14th century Wales, Alice is just a sixteen year old girl who evoking the plague which has ravaged the village, taking the lives of several, including Alice father and is accused of being a witch. If it's disclosed that Alice has been hiding her mother's disease, she's made to watch The Cleanser, an ominous hidden figure, brutally dispatch her mother. The town preacher and subjects her into five torturous trials later she spurns his advances, and leader Tom has eyes Alice. Escaping the night together with the assistance of her mother's friend Mary, before her implementation, she flees into the forest and discovers a healer's hut, together along with allies and their own past. He teaches her how to exact revenge upon people who persecuted her, also nurses her back to health.
