The Climax
Dr. Hohner (Karloff), a theater doctor at the Vienna Royal Theater, kills his mistress, the star soprano, when his jealousy drives him to the point where he is crazy obsessed with her. Later, another young singer (Foster) brings Hohner back to his old self, and his old craze starts again. Hohner wants to stop her from singing for anyone but him, even if that means making her stop singing for good. In the movie's ending, the singer's fiancee (Bey) runs to save her.
